Whimsy Cottage is a quilt shop in SLC, specializing in true-color, fresh fabrics for quilting, crafting, or just plain sewing.  It was a similar shop in Heber City, UT, for five years, and was in the 2002 Quilt Sampler magazine by Better Homes and Gardens.  It reopened in October, 2005 in its current location.  Hopefully, the blog is a true representation of the store - fun and energizing with lots of things to inspire your creativity.

Whimsy's owner is me, Nancy Raymond.  I've had several stores over the years;  I consider myself a retail junky.  I truly dislike salesmen, so I've never figured out why this is my job.  My goal at the store is that nobody bothers you or pushes you to buy, but is available, competent and happy to help if you need it.  I hope anyone who visits is entertained, has a good time and receives great service.
